We offer lessons for children from three years upwards in Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz. Lessons are made fun and enjoyable for the children whilst based on a set syllabus and we aim to work towards putting on an annual performance in a local Theatre in which all children will have the opportunity to take part providing they have attended classes on a regular basis. Older children also work towards regular exam sessions which are assessed by either the Royal Academy of Dance or the Professional Teachers of Dance, who are two of the countries leading dance training organisations, both of which are members of the government recognised Council for Dance Education and Training, as the Principal of the Dance Centre I am a member of both of these organisations and they monitor my teaching.

We offer a number of classes in various locations and all lessons are tailored to suit the child’s ability and age group, more detail of the class content is shown on the attached Class Description sheet. Children are required to wear a uniform only available from the Dance Centre at a special price. Children under the age of three are placed on a waiting list to gain a class after their third birthday.

Parents are invited to watch their child’s class on the last day of Autumn (December) and Summer (July) term. Parents of new pre-school children may remain to settle in their child as and when necessary at teacher / parent discretion for the first few lessons.
